Welcome to the WSCP training area.
If you work for or volunteer with a service in the Wakefield district who supports children and families you can take a look and book onto a range of face-to-face and online training courses relevant to safeguarding children.
To do this click below on 'Book Multi-Agency Training' and 'Book Education Training' for training specific to schools, colleges and education settings.
In addition to booking onto training, there is a host of videos, podcasts and presentations across a range of safeguarding topics which can be accessed on demand.

WSCP has a Learning & Improvement Framework (LIF) in place which illustrates how the partnership's quality assurance and review activity generates learning which is delivered to those who work or volunteer with children and families. To view the WSCP LIF please click below:
WSCP Cancellation & Charging Policy
If you can no longer attend a course you have booked onto please cancel your place. Most of our courses are over subscribed and cancellation allows for other colleagues to attend the training course.
If you are unable to attend, the process of how to cancel your place is referenced in the link below.
If you are wishing to cancel your place on the day of the training course, please email wscpevents@wakefield.gov.uk as a matter of urgency. Thank you.
