SIDS and Safer Sleep Training
Outline
The training looks at what Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is and reducing the chance of it occurring, along with key messages for keeping babies safe during sleep.
It also continues explaining factors that increase a baby’s chance of SIDS, and what parents can do to avoid them.
Audience
This course is specifically aimed at professionals and practitioners who are working closely with families in a role where giving safer sleep advice is part of their core role.

Courses are free for the statutory, voluntary and community sector in Wakefield, however failure to attend without giving prior notice may result in a charge to cover costs.
