Aims of the session:

An understanding of restorative practice and its application in different settings

Guidance on using restorative approaches

An introduction to a number of restorative tools

Signposting to further reading and resources

 

Target Audience:

This course is suitable for practitioners and managers working with children, young people and their families. It is advisable that participants have undertaken at least a basic level safeguarding children course.

 

Course Highlights

The session will give insight into the applications of restorative practice, both formal & informal and it will raise awareness of the needs of those who participate in a restorative process
