WSCP have a keen standard regarding information sharing between partners and agencies, as this can have a high outcome towards children and young people. WSCP is willing to promote the welfare and to safeguard them from harm. Children and young people’s needs and circumstances can be complex and it is only by agencies coming together and working collaboratively that we can achieve a completed assessment of the child or young person within their family and community and ensure that they receive the services that they require.
Effective interagency working is dependent upon effective information sharing whether a child or young person just needs some additional support (early intervention) or whether there are concerns that they are at risk of significant harm (safeguarding). For agencies and partners to have a high quality standard, information sharing is needed to keep children and young people safe from harm and to protect their own wellbeing.
